Beekay Engineering Corporation was founded to serve the Indian Metallurgical Industry. Beekay has now developed into an integrated, manufacturing complex combing facilities for fabrication, machining, castings, equipment, heat treatment, testing etc. and serves clients globally. Its EPC division executes projects on Turnkey basis.
Beekay manufacturing facilities has 30,000 sq.Mtrs. of covered area, 80,000 sq.Mtrs. of open area, 6000 sq.Mtrs. of administrative and other buildings, 34 Nos. of 10 to 50 MT cap. EOT Cranes, 20 Nos. Mobile Cranes of cap. Upto 250 T, 8 Nos. Motorised Gantry Cranes of cap. upto 20T, 2900 KVA connected load and 1570 KVA captive power generation.
The fabrication shop has annual capacity of over 12,000 MT of Technological structures. About 18,000 MT of Building steel structures are fabricated & erected at sites. Facilities include 5 Nos. plate bending machines with cap. to roll upto 100mm thk / 3000mm wide plates; 800T hydraulic press ; welding systems like submerged arc, MIG, TIG and special facilities for plasma cutting & stud welding ; welding manipulator & rotators, plate shearing, punching and CNC profile cutting.
The machine shop is equipped with imported CNC and digital machines for horizontal & vertical boring with spindle dia upto 205mm, rotary table of 2400X4500 ; milling ; planning upto 40 feet length, shaping, hobbing upto 6.8m dia etc. from reputed manufacturers like Juaristi, Skoda, Asquith, TOS, Richards, Loudon, Kendal & Gent. etc.
The Grey Iron Foundry has an installed capacity to manufacture 15,000 MT castings per annum with upto 30 MT single piece. Casting facilities includes high production cupolas, Induction furnaces, pattern shop, heat treatment furnaces with six point recorder.
Quality assurance procedures during all stages of manufacturing ensure top quality of our products. The company is ISO 9001:2008, ISO 14001:2004, OHAS 18001:2007 accredited and follows stringent norms for quality control. Testing facilities include Gamma ray, Ultrasonic, Magnetic particle, Physical & Chemical laboratory, ARL spectrometer etc.
